Az Car Rents Inc ("Az Car Rents"), the independently operated Avis and Budget location at 5500 NW Johnston Dr, Ste C, Johnston, IA 50131, sends customer care text messages only through its Az Car Rents Customer Texts program: reservation confirmations and updates, pickup and return reminders for your rental, replies to your questions, and follow-ups to your calls and callback requests. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never send mass text campaigns.

Other ways to opt in
By phone
When you call us at 515-393-5453 (or our automated phone line, 515-642-3112), our staff or our automated AI phone assistant will ask before sending any text:
"Would it be okay if Az Car Rents texts you about your reservation and this request at this number? Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to opt out, or HELP for help. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are at azcarrents.com/sms. Do we have your permission to text you? Please say yes or no."
We text you only if you say yes. If you say no, we'll call or email you instead.
At the counter
When you rent at our Johnston counter, our staff will ask whether you'd like texts about your rental, read the same disclosure, and note your answer. The same disclosure is posted at the counter. Saying no won't affect your rental.
By texting us first
If you text us at 515-642-3112 about your reservation, we'll reply to you about that request.
After you opt in, your first text confirms it: "Az Car Rents: You're opted in to customer care texts about your rental. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
Opt out or get help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed and no further texts. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@azcarrents.com or 515-393-5453. Reply START to opt back in.
All Az Car Rents texts are sent from 515-642-3112. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
